Day-before reminder: reply C to confirm or R to reschedule
Remind the patient of tomorrow's appointment and let them reply C to confirm or R to reschedule.

Practices import this playbook into MediFlow in one click. It starts in Watch only mode, so nothing goes out until the practice is ready.
Is it a fit?
When to use it
Use it when you want patients to confirm their visit with one letter, and you want to know ahead of time who plans to come.
When not to use it
Skip it for same-day bookings, or if your scheduling system already sends its own reminders.
Why it helps
Missed visits leave open slots and slow down care on the case. A simple reminder that patients can answer with one letter tells your team who's coming and who needs a new time.
How it works
What starts it, what has to be true, and what happens next.
When
- A patient has an appointment the next day.
Only if
- The patient has a cell phone on file.
- The appointment isn't canceled.
Then
- The patient gets a reminder text and can reply C or R.
- A C reply marks the visit confirmed; an R reply sends the request to your scheduling team.
Steps
- The day before a visit, MediFlow finds the patients who are booked.
- Each patient gets a reminder with the day and time.
- Replying C marks the visit confirmed on your schedule.
- Replying R hands the patient to your scheduling team to find a new time.
