StatCare: Built a state-wide PI provider network on a single billing and lien backbone.
StatCare started as a Houston urgent care group and grew into a Texas-wide network of PI-focused clinics and affiliated specialists. As they scaled, the operational drag of running personal injury cases across multiple legal entities and billing systems threatened the expansion plan.
The work behind the result
One case record. More room to work.
Each new clinic StatCare opened or affiliated meant another intake process, another lien tracker, another billing handoff. Cases were taking 140+ days to resolve on average, and roughly $1.8M in billable PI work sat in collections limbo at any given time because nobody could see the full picture across entities.
MediFlow 360 became StatCare's central nervous system across all locations and affiliated providers — one intake, one lien ledger, one attorney-facing surface, with per-entity billing rules applied automatically. Charting and clinical workflows continued in each location's EHR; MediFlow handles everything from referral to collected payment.
Average case resolution time dropped from 142 days to 89 days. The pool of stuck-in-collections work shrank by over 60% in six months. StatCare has since added four more clinics and a dozen affiliated providers without adding a single new operational headcount on the PI side.
“Our growth plan assumed we'd need to double the back office. MediFlow 360 meant we didn't have to. We've added clinics and providers without adding a single PI ops person — and resolution times keep getting faster.”
