Introducing Pulse Inbox: a dedicated email, fax, and SMS line that triages itself

Today we're launching Pulse Inbox, the biggest addition to MediFlow 360 since the attorney portal. It does something every personal injury practice has wanted for years: it turns the chaos of inbound communication — the fax machine, three shared email accounts, and a cell phone full of patient texts — into a single inbox that triages itself.

The problem we kept hearing. PI practices live and die by inbound messages. A signed lien arrives by fax. A records request comes in by email with a settlement deadline attached. A patient texts to ask whether they should bring their MRI disc. A funder faxes a remittance advice. Today, most of this lands in a pile that someone has to sort by hand — and the cost of a missed fax or a buried records request is measured in delayed payments and lost referral relationships.

What Pulse Inbox does. Every provider on MediFlow 360 now gets three dedicated channels: a real, monitored email address, a digital fax line, and an SMS number. Everything sent to any of them flows into one unified inbox. Then Pulse — MediFlow's AI agent — reads each message, identifies what it is, and takes the right action.

Pulse classifies and auto-handles the messages PI practices actually receive:

    1. Lien documents are matched to the right open case, checked for missing signatures and dates, and filed directly to the case ledger. 2. Records requests from verified attorneys are acknowledged instantly and opened as a task that's tracked until it's fulfilled. 3. Patient questions get an immediate, personalized reply when they're routine — and anything clinical is routed to a human fast. 4. Attorney updates are logged to the shared case timeline so the whole provider team sees the same status. 5. Payment notifications are read, matched to the outstanding balance, and posted against the ledger automatically. 6. Spam is quarantined before anyone on your team ever has to look at it.

Your team supervises the edges, not the middle. Pulse scores its confidence on every message. High-confidence, routine work is handled automatically with a full audit trail. Anything unusual or low-confidence is surfaced to a person — with Pulse's reasoning and extracted fields attached, so the human starts with context instead of a blank page.

Pulse is the same assistant, everywhere. If you've used MediFlow 360's AI lien review or automation, you've already met Pulse. Pulse Inbox is simply Pulse pointed at your inbound communication — the same named assistant that already automates work across the platform, now reading your email, fax, and SMS.

See it for yourself. We built a live, in-browser demo of Pulse Inbox so you can watch messages arrive across all three channels and see Pulse triage each one in real time — including the reasoning behind every decision. It runs entirely in your browser with simulated data, so no sign-up required.

Pulse Inbox is rolling out now to early-access partners. If you'd like your practice in the first cohort, we'd love to talk.
