Recall: time for a follow-up
Remind patients when their provider wants them back for a follow-up visit.
- Patients
- Any practice
Practices import this playbook into MediFlow in one click. It starts in Watch only mode, so nothing goes out until the practice is ready.
Is it a fit?
When to use it
Use it when providers ask patients to come back for a re-check and you want a reminder to go out when it's time.
When not to use it
Skip it if the follow-up is already booked before the patient leaves the office.
Why it helps
Follow-up visits are easy to forget once a patient feels a little better. A recall reminder helps keep the plan of care on track and the case record complete.
How it works
What starts it, what has to be true, and what happens next.
When
- A follow-up date set by the provider comes up.
Only if
- No follow-up visit is booked.
Then
- The patient gets a reminder to book their follow-up.
Steps
- Your provider sets a follow-up date on the case.
- When the date comes up, MediFlow checks for a booked visit.
- If there isn't one, the patient gets a reminder to book.
- The reminder is saved on the case.
